Weddings

Weddings are one of the single most important moments in your life so you want your precious memories to be captured in the best possible way. This is where I can help by providing a fresh approach to your special day.

My exposure to weddings began at an early age as my father and I worked together running a mobile disco during the early and mid eighties. Attending around 150 wedding receptions during that time gave me a great perspective on these important events and the activities that take place during them.

Since that time I have been the Master of Ceremonies at one wedding and also have been responsible for recording and editing wedding video.

My first experience in wedding photography came unexpectedly some years back when a couple we were friends with were having a low key wedding and did not organise for a professional photographer. I volunteered to step in with my compact camera and steered them in the direction of some memorable photographs. As they chose the Sydney Botanic Gardens as their venue finding some nice backgrounds was not an issue. I then chose shots using both colour and black and white formats which best captured the mood and placed them into an album for them.

In recent times I have been involved with wedding photos focused primarily on the wedding cars and how the bride, groom and families interact with them. This was done over several weddings and dedicated photo shoots to produce photos for the car company's web site and advertising materials.
